Understanding Billing and Expenses
Willow Tree Therapy Services is registered with most major insurance carriers as an Out of Network, or OON, provider. This means that while the practice is not in every insurance network, it can still work with many plans that include out of network benefits. The only exception is United Behavioral Health and its related entities, which are not accepted for courtesy billing.
For clients who have out of network coverage, Willow Tree Therapy Services will courtesy bill your insurance company on your behalf. Courtesy billing helps reduce the burden of handling claims on your own. Instead of requiring you to submit paperwork and follow up with your insurer, the practice takes care of the billing process for you. This can save time and help make treatment feel less overwhelming.
Because insurance coverage can vary from one plan to another, any out of pocket cost will depend on your specific benefits. These costs may include a deductible, coinsurance, or other amounts that your plan requires you to pay. Willow Tree Therapy Services will review your coverage and collect only the amount that is your responsibility based on your insurance plan. By doing this, the practice helps bring more clarity to the financial side of therapy.
Seeking psychotherapy can already feel like a big step. Financial concerns should not create extra stress when you are trying to get support. Willow Tree Therapy Services aims to make the billing process as simple and understandable as possible. The team works to help you know what to expect before services begin, so there are fewer surprises later.
Part of the practice’s goal is to help you access care today, without unnecessary delay. Understanding how billing works, what your insurance may cover, and how payment is handled is an important part of that process. If you have questions about your benefits or payment methods, the practice is there to help explain the details and guide you through each step.
If you have any questions about the cost of services, or methods of payment, feel free to reach out and request an appointment.
